Know the syllabus. Extension 2 maths
is probably the only maths subject where summarising the dot
points is a big advantage. This is mainly due to the many proofs
that need to be known. By summarising the dot points, you will
find out what proofs are required and work out how to do them
before the exam.

Stay
positive. Four unit can be stressful at times because it can be
so hard. I struggled all year, only scoring 52% in the
trial HSC, but scored 89% in the actual exam. I didn't lift my
study by that much, it's just that it can be hard to gauge where
you actually are in four unit. Remember, four unit generally
scales very well for the UAI.

Do
practice exams. One of the best ways to study for the HSC is by
doing past HSC papers. It gives you an idea of the structure of
the paper as well as what to expect.
